GUEST

SPEAKER

Hamad Al Amari

Hamad Al Amari, or The Qatari Guy, as some people call him, is a Qatari-Irish stand up comedian who will be giving a talk during the One Day Training Conference this year.

Having grown up in Qatar, Ireland and the United States, Hamad Al-Amari grew up with a strong exposure to many different cultures, he claims this diversity in his life helped form his comedic identity and his general approach.

Al-Amari, although Qatari, has stated that he enjoys performing in English, rather than Arabic, as he says that Qatar is a multi-national country with people from all over the world living here - so he would much rather communicate with a larger audience when giving his speeches and during his stand-up routines.

Hamad Al Amari is also a keen ambassador of many charities and has hosted many VIP corporate events, conferences and film festivals - while also creating his own shows online, including Q-Tips and Kilmatraas.

Hamad Al Amari has been interviewed by many Qatari Sources, such as the Gulf Times, Times out Doha and Marhaba. He has also peformed in Qatar’s Summer Festival, as well as alongside Trever Noah, in the Qatar Comedy Festival.

Despite his comedic acts, Hamad Al Amari has also said that he has a strong willingness to teach, assist and educate other people around him.
